I lived by myself for six months and shortly after became unexpectedly pregnant for the very first time. I did this painting right before I cut off my dreads and had found out my pregnancy wasn’t going to reach full term. This news broke me in a way I never thought imaginable. This painting was done from life in my boyfriend’s (now husband) pink bathroom.
