Nico, Chelsie’s daughter, laying down reading one of her favorite graphic novels.  Reading is Nico’s favorite thing to do.  She can read for hours and be so content.  This scene is from another quarantine, which has become regular in the Tamala house hold during this season.
The focus in this piece is Nico but also how the light and dark interacts with her being in front of the window and the warmth that embodies her.  Light and shadow are largely at play here.  The colors that were chosen highlight the shadows and everything in between.
