Fear often inhibits us from getting what we want. This piece is a self portrait completed from life and a representation of what it takes to go up against the very thing you are afraid of and conquering it.  The three faces symbolize the emotions and energy one goes through during such a time.  It is important to acknowledge said feelings and not let them get you down but let it pass and keep going.  There is no such thing as failure; rather you learn what not to do again.
