Downtown Phoenix has been Andrew and I’s stomping grounds for 12+ years. I’m pretty sure our first date was at Cold Stone at the AZ Center. We would ride our bikes all around downtown and still do sometimes. We have to been going to shows at Crescent Ballroom and Valley Bar since they have both opened. This year I literally danced into my 32nd birthday at Valley Bar which if you know me dancing is my secret favorite thing to do.  Months ago Andrew ran out of the bathroom sounding so excited and announced “Stereolab is coming!” The first time they came we weren’t old enough to go to the show it was 21 and over. Thirteen years later they manage to come but Andrew has pneumonia. We still managed to make it for a bit and it was worth every minute. But it made me realize how lucky we are to have all these amazing memories and many more. We have had some of our best and worst times running around this city. I am not much of a story teller let alone writer but I feel that we all need to share these important times it brings us all a bit closer.
