This image is very nostalgic for me. My grandparents house was my first home. Since I can remember my grandparents have rested in this room together after my grandma would finish teaching each night. My grandmother is a piano teacher and has taught out of her home for over 40 years, even through this pandemic (remotely) and her many battles with cancer. My grandfather has been there for her every step of the way. I hope to continue the strength and love they have for each other and their family into my own for many generations to come.

I was able to start this piece from life which made it effortless to capture them exactly as they are.
